Am I running toward new opportunities or away from negative places.
Are these mutually exclusive?
Is the proverbial grass always greener?
Experiences say a resounding NO!
But staying in misery seems more destructive even if the next place is less than ideal.
Am I running away or toward something?
Does the lack of novelty drive destructive behavior or allow for growth?
Can it be both?
I crave stability but hate predictability.
Eager for new experiences but hesitant due to past pain.
Am I running toward or away from everything?
The novelty is exciting and equally daunting.
Loneliness fills the new spaces and exhaustion replaces novelty.
I long to reinvent myself but seem to only find the same patterns.
Am I running away or toward something?
I long for purpose but fail to find it in each new opportunity.
Filled with disillusionment, hopelessness takes root.
Perhaps the next opportunity will fill the void in my soul.
So, I keep running.
Are you running? Are you searching?
Keep searching for meaning in the chaos.
Keep searching for hope in the darkneess
Keep searching for kindness in a world filled with anger
Keep searching for love in a landscape filled with fear.
Never stop searching even if you don’t know if your running toward or away from something.
